The Temple of Artimis was a place for the citizens of ancient Greece to worship the goddess Artimis/Dina. Dina is Artimis's counterpart Roman name. In Greek she is known as Artimis, and is the goddess of the hunt, nature, and moon. In the later years of Artimis's temple Pagen worshipers began to be prosecuted by Christens. Paganist were people who believed/worshiped multiple gods. In the end Artimis's temple was burned down by a man who was seeking fame. Though is name is known it is best not to be mentioned, because that would be rewarding for the crimes he committed. Legends say Artimis didn't protect her temple the day it was set on fire because she was preoccupied with the birth if Alexander the Great, who would one day grow up to become one of the greatest strategist ever known to mankind.
